You seem like a good person to me so I'm interested in you. But why do you not try to ever connect to me or when I ask you for friendship you push me away? That's not fair neither to you nor to me. Atheists will never believe, and why the Religious won't let go of their belief. Why a racist will be racist.

It is because everything is perspective and experience related. A liberal is a Liberal because they have

experienced Liberal policies helping out a poor family. Conservatives are Conservative because they have seen those

policies help create jobs for a family on hard times.

An Atheist who has never experienced God will not believe, and a believer who has, will never give up faith.

It's fun to debate these things and all, but in the end we all depend on our experiences to shape the way we feel,

and see the world.

Which is why some people may seem stubborn, some seem like they just wont open their mind up to other

possibilities.....that's because their experiences validate their beliefs.

Maybe we should keep that in mind when wanting to slam our heads against the wall while trying to "educate"

someone, or "wake them up"."
